1. Who we are
Mello is a map-based platform for organizing and joining real-world events, operated by [Company entity — TBD]. Mello is currently available in India — Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, and Hyderabad at launch — with the UAE to follow. By creating an account or using Mello, you agree to these Terms and to our Community Guidelines, which form part of these Terms.
2. Who can use Mello
You must be at least 18 years old to use Mello. We verify age using your date of birth, and in some contexts we may ask you to complete identity verification (a government ID and a selfie, processed by a third-party verification provider) — for example, to host events or join verified-only events.
4. Your content
You own the photos and content you post on Mello. By posting, you grant Mello a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the app so the product can work. We will not use your content in marketing without your separate consent.
6. Plans and pricing
Mello offers Free, Premium, and Business tiers. During the beta period, premium features are free for everyone. Pricing will be announced before any charges apply.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to the final company registration structure.
3. Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate our Community Guidelines, depending on the severity and history of the violation.
5. Events happen in the real world
Mello is a platform for organizing real-world meetups. Events are created and run by users, not by Mello. We are not responsible for what happens at user-organized, in-person events — you participate at your own discretion and risk. Please read the safety practices in our Community Guidelines before attending or hosting.
